Oncoming Storm

This was the view around the time when the humans dozed off:

This is the view now:
There was a secondary wave this morning right before breakfast, but I'm hoping that by this time tomorrow the water will be well and truly receded. The TARDIS should be where we left it; the only problem will be digging it out from under the wreckage.

Sounds muddy, Doctor.

You're going to have to open the Wellies Room!
26th-May-2009 11:49 pm (UTC)
I don't think we have access to the Wellies Room.
26th-May-2009 11:54 pm (UTC)
How do you get some wellies then!? ASK THE TARDIS TO OPEN SESAME!
26th-May-2009 11:56 pm (UTC)
We've got to find the TARDIS first. It's not exactly here.
26th-May-2009 11:57 pm (UTC)
Shit. This one is a puzzler!

What if you used the TARDIS to time travel to Cardiff where Ianto can get you some wellies?
27th-May-2009 12:00 am (UTC)
That would require me getting to the TARDIS. At which point I could just go to the Wellies room. And would also no longer need Wellies.
27th-May-2009 12:12 am (UTC)
Have you thought about shooting it out, Doctor? I have some P90s!
27th-May-2009 12:17 am (UTC)
You're also three hundred years and half a planet away.
27th-May-2009 12:19 am (UTC)
Hey. I just had a great idea. How about you tell me how to fix my wriststrap and then I can just teleport over there with a P90 in each hand?
27th-May-2009 12:26 am (UTC)
Well, I suppose I can always disable it later.
27th-May-2009 12:28 am (UTC)
Sweet. Send the instructions to my PDA!

Doctor, there was nothing in your link except a Rick Astley song.

26th-May-2009 11:49 pm (UTC)
How do you get kink out of a tsunami?

26th-May-2009 11:57 pm (UTC)
Thunderous crashing waves, low light, romantic rain, two (or more) lonely stranded people...grieving, afraid....

I can see it, is all I'm saying.
26th-May-2009 11:59 pm (UTC)

Humans are odd.
26th-May-2009 11:59 pm (UTC)
That's LOST fan fiction!
26th-May-2009 09:52 pm (UTC)
Oh dears. I do hope she's enjoyed the rain then...the TARDIS that is and I hope she doesn't get too peeved about wreckage.

I'm sure T and Andy are finding ways to amuse wade it out.

Really lovely view though. Question is, how are you doing Doc?
26th-May-2009 11:55 pm (UTC)
I'm fine. I'm always fine!
27th-May-2009 10:29 pm (UTC)
Glad you're fine. You know we aren't.

Is it safe to tap into the memories of a slowly regenerating Time Lord, you know, just to make sure they aren't...oh say crazy or oh say...the master...?

Just...um...asking...want to check a theory.....you see.
26th-May-2009 09:53 pm (UTC)
I've had a bit of a delay changing into the gear for wading, because T was laughing so much that, er, well, you probably won't be interested in the details of all that sort of stuff...

Should we go out of the TARDIS at all, wouldn't it be better just to leave?

But if we are staying we need to restock completely on veg and milk and stuff, the frozen and tinned is a bit weird after a while. Have they got a nice market left or is it all going to be a rescue and aid project?
26th-May-2009 11:23 pm (UTC)
And why doesn't the TARDIS, advanced as she is, have a food processing unit?

Doctor, can't we relocate to a less hostile part of the landscape, or is digging out the only option?
26th-May-2009 11:42 pm (UTC)
Well, there'll have to be digging, to get to the TARDIS. We didn't park in this segment, and they've all seperated.
27th-May-2009 03:13 am (UTC)
It took me forever to figure out you don't have a remote!

You know, I do have a working vortex manipulator. See? It's all pretty an lacy and stuff. None of this manly leather nonsense the boys wear. If someone had come up with something we could have done I'd have been happy to get two of us out of there. I could even have taken Andy home except that he seemed to be so amazingly helpful for the locals. But I might have been able to get into the TARDIS and get her loose of her entrapment. But I can't pilot her, can I? So I guess this is as good as we were going to do anyway.
